Going back to college is proving more difficult than I thought it would be. The Art Institute of Tennessee -- Nashville campus classes will not work with my work schedule and they do not offer online. However, The Art Institute of Pittsburgh -- Online Division will work and the whole Bachelor Degree program can be completed from my room and at my own pace. I talked to a representative about classes and what is expected. Classes online about an hour long and a full-time student will be required to have at least two classes at any given time. So, that's only about two hours a day AND only four days a week. I may be able to take about three to four classes at a time and work on my degree for about a few hours every day of the week. But the best part is--> turns out, it is going to be a bit cheaper for me. They offer an Academic Achievement Grant which is based on grades, classes completed, etc. So, as long as I keep my grades good and complete my classes in a timely fashion, i will qualify for it. I ;also, may qualify for a scholarship since it will be online and I'm 25 years old now, which will help out a lot. Plus, I qualify for financial aid with a Pell Grant included. Now, I just have to make sure I get accepted. Wish me luck!
So, until then--
I will be working on the Christmas Cardinal drawing and completing it this weekend.
